About us
Norra Stockholms Psykiatri (Northern Stockholm Psychiatry) was established at the turn of the year in 2002 and comprises 2 base regions: City (Norrmalm, Kungsholmen and Östermalm), West (Bromma, Hässelby, Vällingby and Ekerö). General psychiatric 24-hour care is common for all regions. The geriatric psychiatry section is also a part of the common sector programme.
The activity operates psychiatric care in the form of outpatient care, intermediary care and 24-hour care for the inhabitants of northern Stockholm. We strive to offer an equal access health care of good quality for the entire population and great importance is put on accessibility, information and service.
The clinic strive to stimulate the development of the clinical activity, guarantee a high level of quality and develop the health care services in line with the development of efficient methods of treatment within psychiatry.
The core of the organization is a commonality and “we” feeling which leads to increased stability and safety for everyone who works within Norra Stockholms Psykiatri.
